- AI agents are rapidly becoming first-class actors in the enterprise - calling APIs, accessing data, and acting on behalf of users. But how do you govern who (or what) an agent is? In this session, we introduce Agent ID in Microsoft Entra, the new identity primitive purpose-built for AI agents. We'll cover what an Agent ID is, how it differs from service principals and managed identities, how agents are provisioned and discovered in. We'll close with a demo of registering an agent built in Copilot Studio / Azure AI Foundry, walking through its Agent ID, and governing its access using CA policies. Finally, we will highlight key Microsoft Learn resources, so you leave with practical, actionable steps to strengthen your recovery readiness.
